The Courtyard Gallery Crickhowell, May 2013

A few months ago Year 12 went on a journey up a mountain. Upon Pen Trumau is a scar from a fire in the late 1970s. A woollen line has been created and placed along the scar to help preserve the peat. The exhibition is work created by Year 12 and staff in response to the journey up Pen Trumau. Our thanks go to Artist's Pip Woolf and Kirsty Claxton for sharing this project with us.

Each year the current GCSE, AS and A Level students have the opportunity to exhibit their work alongside  practising Artists. Our thanks go to Glasbury Arts and students' for another successful exhibition!

Glasbury Arts,

October 2013

To celebrate 10 years of Glasbury Arts, the Art department were given the opportunity to do what we do best...create! The aim was to use photographs of stars taken through a telescope and project them into a white space. Over a period of three days, the public were invited to create an installation to engulf the projection. Using a variety of mixed media including spices, we created a new dimnesion in response to the photographs.
